LiquiCult test kits are used to detect microbial growth in fluids, in the laboratory and in the workplace. Area of application includes metalworking fluids, circulating cooling and process water, hydrocarbons, and other liquids such as cleaners, cosmetics, liquid soaps and detergents, etc.

LiquiCult testing determines the type and degree of infestation usually measured by the more expensive plate count system. To use, simply fill the 5cc syringe (included in your kit) with the fluid to be tested. Inject the complete 5cc through the rubber cap of test bottle containing the solution and shake it vigorously.

If the test bottle indicates positive for bugs, treatment with Kathon^® FP 1.5 biocide is recommended. If the test bottles are negative, the next step would be to check for SRB (Sulfate Reducing Bacteria) to determine if this might be the problem.
