FQS 4005 is a combination of stabilizers specially formulated to enhance the stability of Biodiesel (B100) and Biodiesel / Petroleum Diesel Blends (BXX).  

FQS 4005 is applicable for B100 and BXX blended fuels for on-road, off-road, home heating, marine, rail, and power generation applications.  FQS 4005 is a middle distillate fuel additive that provides the following functional and performance properties:

Superior Rancimant (EN 14112) Stability enhancement in B100 and BXX Blends, extends biofuel storage stability. Inhibits peroxide formation, protects against elastomer degradation Minimizes affects of peroxide degradation, diminishes polymers formation, and formation of malodorous volatile acids Protects against acid induced degradation, complexes the corrosive acidic by products of biodegradation Excellent against metal catalyzed degradation, inhibits detrimental effects of metal contamination  Provides detergency to BXX Blends, inhibits varnishing attributed to fuel instability
