Micro-Gard 4000 is a fuel biocide that is intended to work in the fuel phase and partition into the water phase. Not only does Micro-Gard 4000 function as a fuel microbicide that inhibits growth of bacteria and fungus in the entire fuel system and tank water bottoms but it also has the ability to neutralize low pH tank bottom water produced by acid producing bacteria.
Micro-Gard 4000 used with
LTSA-35A multifunctional fuel stabilizer completes the MIL-S-53021 requirement.

microbial test kits. These kits are easy to use and do not require prior laboratory experience.
The current treat rate is 1 gallon of Micro-Gard 4000 to 5,000 gallons of fuel.
