Microbial contamination can live and breed anywhere in the fuel distribution system. Where water has the potential to accumulate, early detection and treatment can eliminate the headaches associated with the high cost of repair and/or replacement of tanks and equipment.
Kathon® FP 1.5 biocide has been thoroughly tested and has received numerous

Kathon® FP 1.5 biocide as part of your treatment and cleaning procedure. Kathon® FP 1.5 is a broad spectrum biocide that is easy for Service Maintenance Personnel to use, with "quick kill time" and superior chemistry to stop microbial contamination, while keeping fuel systems biologically clean, thereby reducing aircraft layovers and downtime. Kathon® FP 1.5 biocide combines all of these properties into a single product. Kathon® FP 1.5 can be applied to the aircraft manually as an over the wing treatment or by using an
additive injection system.
